IBC Heater for 300L IBC Container Single Heat Band

The IBC Heater for 300L IBC Containers is a compact and efficient heating solution designed to reduce the viscosity of liquids and semi-solid materials, making them easier to discharge from an Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC). Products such as syrup, sugar, fats, oils, resin and adhesives can become thick and difficult to remove at room temperature, often leaving valuable product behind inside the container.

By heating the IBC before discharge, the contents become smoother and less viscous, allowing them to be poured or pumped more easily and with minimal product waste. The flexible heating jacket wraps around the 300L container, providing efficient and consistent heat to help bring the contents up to the required temperature.

CompactLine 300L Design

The 300L heater is part of the CompactLine range, using the same proven construction as the larger 1000L IBC heating jacket but scaled specifically for 300L containers. Its compact and lightweight design makes it easy for one person to install and remove, while the adjustable quick-release buckles provide a secure fit around standard 300L IBC containers.

The heating jacket measures 2590 x 760mm, weighs just 8kg and operates from a 230V supply with a 1150W heating output.

A single digital thermostat with timer function provides adjustable temperature control from 0°C to 90°C. The timer allows the heater to bring the contents up to the required temperature and maintain the desired heating period, helping to achieve and maintain the appropriate viscosity without requiring continuous supervision.

The heating jacket is constructed from durable Cordura and silicone-coated fibreglass, providing a robust yet lightweight solution suitable for repeated industrial use. It can also remain fitted during transportation where the contents need to be maintained at a specific temperature or viscosity.

Matching Insulation Lid

For faster and more efficient heating, we recommend using the matching IBC Insulation Lid (item 26-4943), available separately. Heat can escape through the open top of an IBC, making it more difficult to achieve and maintain the desired temperature. The insulation lid helps reduce heat loss and improves the overall efficiency of the heating process.
