IBC Base Heater for 1000L IBC

The IBC Base Heater for 1000L IBC Containers is an efficient and powerful heating solution designed to warm liquids, viscous products and semi-solid materials stored in standard 1000-litre Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs). By applying heat directly to the base of the container, the heater helps reduce the viscosity of stored products, making them easier to discharge and helping to minimise product waste.

With a powerful 2700W heating output, the silicone base heater can heat water in a fully loaded 1000L IBC from 15°C to 70°C in less than 40 hours under suitable conditions. For applications requiring faster heating, an IBC insulation jacket can be used alongside the base heater to reduce heat loss and improve heating efficiency.

Manufactured from 100% durable silicone, the base heater is designed to withstand the weight and pressure of a fully loaded IBC container. Its robust construction makes it suitable for repeated industrial use, while the design allows the heater to be fitted to a wide range of standard 1000L IBC containers.

Installation is straightforward. Simply remove the IBC container from its supporting frame, position the base heater at the bottom of the frame and place the container back on top. Once connected to the power supply, the heater is ready for use. The base heater can also be used to maintain the temperature of IBC contents during storage or transportation, subject to the appropriate operating conditions.

For applications requiring precise temperature control, the IBC Base Heater can be used with an optional adjustable digital temperature controller and PT100 sensor system, providing accurate control across a 0°C to 150°C range.
