The GroundTuff Urban Matting – Charcoal is a lightweight yet highly durable temporary ground protection solution, designed to provide safe and reliable access across a wide range of environments. Manufactured from 100% recyclable High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), each mat measures 1100mm x 2400mm and is 8mm thick, offering a robust surface capable of supporting loads of up to 35 tonnes*.

Designed for versatility, the GroundTuff Urban features a smooth surface on one side and a 4-bar chequered plate pattern on the reverse, providing excellent anti-slip properties while also allowing smooth wheeled access. This combination makes it ideal for pedestrian use, vehicles, machinery and material storage areas.

Like the rest of the GroundTuff range, the Urban Mat incorporates pre-drilled corner and side connection points, enabling mats to be securely linked together using our full range of 2-way and 4-way connectors. Integrated handholds and a lightweight design ensure quick deployment, easy repositioning and efficient storage, helping projects stay on schedule.

Suitable for repeated use, the GroundTuff Urban offers a practical, maintenance-free solution for protecting sensitive ground and creating stable temporary access routes in demanding environments.
