The Drum Heater for 200-220 Litre Drums is designed to maintain the temperature and viscosity of liquids stored in standard full-size metal drums, helping to prevent contents from thickening, solidifying, or freezing during storage, processing, and transportation. Ideal for a wide range of industrial applications, this high-performance heating jacket delivers safe, efficient, and uniform heating with precise temperature control up to 90°C.

Equipped with an easy-to-use digital thermostat adjustable from 0°C to 90°C, the heater enables accurate temperature control for a wide variety of industrial liquids. Whether reducing viscosity for easier pumping and dispensing, preventing crystallisation, or maintaining a consistent processing temperature, this drum heater provides dependable performance throughout the year.

Manufactured from durable Teflon-coated polyester with polyester insulation and a silicone heating wire, the lightweight yet robust construction offers excellent thermal efficiency while minimising heat loss. Adjustable quick-release buckles allow the heater to be fitted quickly and securely to standard 200-220 litre drums, making it suitable for both fixed installations and transporting heated products.

The drum heating jacket can be used as a standalone heating solution or in conjunction with drum heating cabinets, heating ovens, or base drum heaters to improve heating performance and reduce heat loss during transportation.

For improved thermal efficiency and faster heat-up times, two optional insulated drum lids are available separately:

These insulated lids help retain heat, reduce energy consumption, and maintain a more consistent drum temperature. The version with access holes allows product dispensing or mixing without removing the lid, making it ideal for continuous processing applications.

Supplied as standard with IP40 protection, the heater is also available with an optional IP54 rating for environments where moisture, water spray, or routine wash-down procedures are common, including food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and hygienic production facilities.
