The ATEX IBC Heater is a high-performance heating jacket designed for the safe heating of 1000 litre Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) in hazardous and potentially explosive environments. Certified for use in ATEX Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22, it provides reliable frost protection, temperature maintenance and process heating for a wide range of industrial applications.

Suitable for operating temperatures from -40°C up to +200°C for steel IBCs and up to +80°C for plastic IBCs, this robust heating solution is ideal for maintaining product viscosity, preventing freezing and ensuring consistent process temperatures. Designed to fit standard 1000 litre IBC containers, the ATEX IBC Heater delivers uniform heat distribution for maximum efficiency. It is compatible with a wide range of IBC manufacturers and can be supplied with an optional insulated lid to further improve heat retention and reduce energy consumption.

Manufactured from durable, flexible and dissipative materials, the heating jacket is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its IP65 / Class I protection rating provides excellent resistance against dust and water jets, making it ideal for demanding industrial environments.

The heater is fully certified in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and is supplied fully configured and ready for installation, eliminating the need for additional acceptance procedures. Each heater includes an ATEX temperature controller, allowing accurate temperature regulation to suit the application while supporting Temperature Classes T6, T5, T4 and T3, depending on the limiter setting.

Available in a range of voltages, power ratings and dimensions, the ATEX IBC Heater can also be customised to meet specific application requirements.
