Description
Description
The IBC Base Leg Heater provides an efficient way to heat an Intermediate Bulk Container from underneath. Designed to slide between the pallet feet of a standard IBC, the heated panel sits directly against the underside of the container, allowing heat to be transferred upwards into the contents.
The heater can be used independently to maintain or increase product temperature, helping keep viscous and temperature-sensitive materials pumpable and easier to discharge. For improved heating performance and energy efficiency, it can also be combined with an IBC insulation jacket, heating jacket, lid or cover.
A built-in DigiTherm digital controller provides accurate temperature control with an adjustable setpoint, countdown timer and optional slow ramp-up function. The controller can display temperatures in either °C or °F and uses a Type K thermocouple sensor for accurate temperature monitoring.
Operating at 405W on 230V AC, the heater has a working temperature range of 0–90°C and features a 1300 × 870mm heated panel. Adjustable wrap-around tensioning straps hold the heater securely against the base of the IBC for effective heat transfer.
The heater incorporates an internal thermal fuse and Class II electrical protection, with an IP40 protection rating. An IP54-rated controller option is also available.

Important Safety Information
The base leg heater must be removed before lifting or moving the IBC with a forklift. Never operate the heater without a filled container. Ensure all tensioning straps are securely tightened so the heated panels sit flat against the IBC base.
Maintain a minimum 50cm clearance around the heated container during operation. This product is intended for industrial use only and should be operated by personnel familiar with heating-equipment safety.
Do not use this heater near flammable liquids or in potentially explosive atmospheres. ATEX-certified heating equipment must be used in explosion-risk areas where required.
