Description
Description
Pipe Curing Heating Blankets are designed to provide fast, consistent and secure heating for the curing and joining of PE (Polyethylene) and GRE (Glass Reinforced Epoxy) pipes. They can also be used for a wide range of composite curing applications, including GRP, GFRP, RTR and FRP.
Manufactured from durable, flexible and lightweight materials, these heating blankets provide a maximum operating temperature of 180°C. The blankets are supplied without insulation, allowing them to maintain close, direct contact with the pipe surface for efficient and even heat distribution. This helps provide consistent curing temperatures across the heated area while reducing heat loss between the heating element and pipe.
The pipe curing blankets are available with either a bimetal temperature limiter rated at 180°C or a PT100 temperature sensor. The PT100 version requires a separate temperature controller, providing the flexibility to monitor and control the curing temperature according to the specific requirements of the application.
Available in a range of standard sizes and heating outputs, these blankets can be selected to suit different pipe diameters and curing requirements. Custom sizes and heating outputs can also be manufactured on request, making them suitable for specialist applications and larger or non-standard pipe systems.
Pipe Curing Heating Blankets offer an efficient and practical solution for contractors and industrial users looking to save time and improve consistency when curing, joining and repairing pipe systems and composite materials.
