Description
Built for demanding industrial applications, these heavy-duty steerable skates offer a reliable and controlled solution for moving loads up to 6000kg. Ideal for transporting factory machinery, generators, and large steel structures, they provide both strength and manoeuvrability in challenging environments.
Loads can be raised easily using a roller crowbar or hydraulic jack before positioning the skates. Designed for long-term use, each unit features sealed bearings for maintenance-free operation and consistent performance.
The skates are equipped with integrated carrying handles and 1-metre steering handles, allowing for precise control and easy positioning. The ST60 models also include hitching loops on the steering handles, enabling connection to tugs or forklifts for assisted movement of heavier loads.
A durable anti-slip rubber mat covers the top surface, helping to stabilise and protect loads during transport. Each skate also incorporates a high-quality turntable and a reinforced packing plate, ensuring smooth rotation and secure load handling.
Steerable skates are typically used in combination with adjustable skate pairs to form a complete moving system. Depending on the setup, one or two steerable skates can be used to create either triangular or rectangular configurations.
