Description
Engineered for maximum strength and control, these heavy-duty steerable skates are designed to move loads of up to 12,000kg with precision and safety. Ideal for transporting large-scale industrial equipment such as factory machinery, generators, and heavy steel structures, they provide a robust solution for the most demanding handling tasks.
Loads can be easily raised using a roller crowbar or hydraulic jack, allowing the skates to be positioned quickly and efficiently. Built with sealed bearings, these skates are completely maintenance-free, ensuring consistent performance and long service life.
Each skate is fitted with integrated carrying handles and 1-metre steering handles, offering excellent manoeuvrability and accurate load positioning. The ST120 models also include hitching loops on the steering handles, enabling connection to tugs or forklifts for assisted movement.
The top surface of each skate is covered with a durable anti-slip rubber mat, helping to stabilise loads while protecting them from damage. A high-quality turntable and strong packing plate—also rubber-covered—ensure smooth rotation and secure load support during transport.
Steerable skates are commonly used in conjunction with adjustable skate pairs to create triangular or rectangular configurations. Depending on operational requirements, one or two steerable skates can be used to form a complete skate system.
